Projects Coordinator – Nairobi, Kenya

Our client, a reputable construction and interior design company known for delivering high-quality projects, is seeking a

Projects Coordinator

to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management within the construction sector, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and effectively coordinate activities both on-site and in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects in line with project timelines and budgets.

Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and ensure accurate execution of work on-site.

Monitor day-to-day site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.

Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.

Track project milestones, report progress, and escalate potential delays or risks to the Projects Manager.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, and site records.

Conduct regular site visits to supervise work progress and provide on-ground support.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project coordination or management within the construction industry.

Strong ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings.

Proven experience in managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.

Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
