JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT / POSITION OBJECTIVE
The job holder is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing effective debt recovery strategies, as well as identifying and mitigating credit risks to minimize non-performing loans (NPLs).
The position ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical collection practices. The role is focused on maximizing recoveries, enhancing portfolio quality, and supporting the Bank’s overall credit risk management objectives.
ACADEMICS AND EXPERIENCE.
A relevant professional qualification in business-related discipline, Banking, Finance, or Risk Management.
Above 8 years’ experience in banking credit, debt collections.
Postgraduate Diploma in Law (KSL) will be an added advantage.
Professional qualifications in Credit Management, Risk Management, Banking, or Insolvency will be an added advantage (e.g. ACIB, CPA,
ACCA, or Certified Credit Professional
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND , Postgraduate Diploma , Professional Certificate
