Request for Proposal : NGA-RFP-013-26 – Provision of Security Guard Services

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), a humanitarian organisation, invites qualified and experienced security service providers to submit proposals for the provision of security guard services across its operational locations in Abuja, Borno, Sokoto, Zamfara, and Adamawa States, Nigeria.

Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), DRC seeks to identify and engage competent security companies with the requisite experience, qualified personnel, operational capacity, and geographical coverage to provide reliable and professional security guard services in support of its offices, facilities, staff, assets, and operations.

Interested companies must demonstrate relevant experience in providing security guard services, preferably to international non-governmental organisations (INGOs), United Nations agencies, or other reputable corporate organisations in Nigeria. Providers must also demonstrate the capacity to deploy, supervise, and manage security personnel across the specified locations, including the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain consistent service standards.

The evaluation will consider, among other factors, the provider's relevant experience, geographical presence, quality and training of security personnel, emergency response mechanisms, supervision arrangements, and financial proposal.

Through this competitive procurement process, DRC aims to secure a reliable and cost-effective service provider that can deliver quality security services, ensure operational continuity, minimise security risks, and provide value for money.

Interested and qualified companies are therefore invited to submit their technical and financial proposals in accordance with the requirements and instructions outlined in this RFP.

Important information regarding this RFP:

This RFP is launched for the purpose of establishing a framework agreement with the supplier for the provision of Security Guards Services for period of 24months.

A Framework agreement is not binding DRC to place any Purchase Orders. DRC will place orders to the awarded supplier based on the agreement as per its requirement.

DRC may choose to cancel the agreement if deemed necessary.

DRC may choose to split the contract award to more than one supplier.

No advance payment will be paid to the awarded supplier. The awarded supplier is expected to mobilize its own resources to deliver the agreed Services.
