Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Acquisition:
Identify, target, and onboard new B2B accounts, regional distributors, wholesalers, and high-volume retail stockists across Greater Accra and key regional markets.
Trade Channel Execution:
Conduct active field sales visits and product pitches in major open markets (e.g.,Makola, Kantamanto, Kejetia) and organized retail hubs.
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain a healthy client pipeline, secure recurring orders, manage contract negotiations, and preserve long-term commercial relationships.
Sales Target & Revenue Growth:
Consistently meet and exceed assigned monthly sales volume targets, product line penetration goals, and revenue benchmarks.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Track field sales data, monitor competitor pricing and activities, submit weekly sales forecasts, and provide actionable feedback to senior management.
Credit & Collections Support:
Collaborate closely with internal finance teams to enforce credit limits and ensure timely client payment reconciliation.
Education & Experience
Higher National Diploma (HND) or bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
2 to 4 years of proven field sales experience in FMCG, footwear, plastic manufacturing, or wholesale distribution in Ghana.
Demonstrated track record of achieving aggressive sales targets in B2B environments.
Skills & Requirements
Deep familiarity with Ghanaian trade structures and open market operations.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Twi, Ga, or Hausa is highly advantageous.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and deal-closing skills.
Valid Driver’s License and flexibility for regional market travel
