Our client, a child-focused school, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Sponsorship Officer

to serve as the key link between sponsors, children, and the community.

This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality communication, accurate program records, and the overall integrity of the sponsorship program. The right candidate will be empathetic, well-organized, and passionate about child welfare and development.

Key Responsibilities.

Facilitate timely and accurate communication between sponsors, children, and the organization.

Prepare, edit, and dispatch sponsorship updates, including reports, letters, photos, and videos.

Register new children in the GC System and prepare comprehensive child profiles.

Manage and respond to sponsor correspondence, ensuring prompt and professional communication.

Review and verify children’s reports, letters, and digital content for accuracy and quality.

Maintain an organized documentation and reporting system for sponsorship activities.

Key Qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Community Development, Administration, Education, or International Relations.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social work, case management, or child sponsorship programs, preferably within an NGO.

Strong understanding of child protection policies and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer applications.

Strong organizational, planning, and report writing skills with attention to detail.
