ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a diligent, organized and trust worthy individual to fill the position of Account/Inventory Officer in our organization
This is an entry-level, permanent position suitable for a candidate with an accounting background who is interested in building practical experience in inventory management, record keeping and basic accounting operations
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of inventory, including stock received, issued, transferred and available
Monitor daily stock movements and ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented
Carry out regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with recorded balances
Prepare and maintain inventory reports, stock records and other relevant documentation
Assist with basic accounting duties, including recording transactions, tracking expenses and maintaining financial records
Verify invoices, receipts and other supporting documents for inventory and financial transactions
Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages, discrepancies or damaged items
Responsible for reconciling physical stock with inventory records
Required Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
Good record-keeping, documentation and organizational skills
Ability to monitor, track and maintain accurate inventory records Basic computer skills
High level of honesty, integrity and accountability
Good communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Qualifications
0-2 years experience
BSc In Accounting, Accountancy or a related field Male Candidate
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND
