Chief Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Chief Security Officer to oversee all security operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate should be a *retired DSS, Police, Military or other paramilitary officer* with proven experience in security management, preferably within the hospitality or corporate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for the hotel

Lead, train, and supervise all security personnel and guards

Ensure safety of guests, staff, property, and assets at all times

Conduct regular risk assessments, threat analysis, and security audits

Manage access control, surveillance systems (CCTV), and emergency response protocols

Liaise with law enforcement, DSS, and other security agencies when necessary

Investigate security breaches, incidents, and prepare detailed reports

Oversee fire safety, crowd control, and crisis management during events

Requirements:

Must be a retired officer from DSS, Police, Army, or other recognized security agency (Retired DSS is highly preferred)

Minimum of 10 years experience in security service, with 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role

Experience in hotel/hospitality security is an added advantage

High level of integrity, discipline, and physical fitness

Excellent leadership, intelligence gathering, and conflict resolution skills

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Lagos
