Role Description
The CNG Plant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for overseeing daily operationxs at the CNG production facility. This role includes managing plant performance, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of all equipment. The CNG Plant Manager will monitor process parameters, optimize throughput, and enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards. The role involves supervising plant staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing operational improvements. The CNG Plant Manager will also prepare reports, manage inventory and consumables, collaborate with engineering and operations teams, and support compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong experience in Plant Management and Plant Operations, with a focus on energy or CNG facilities.
Candidates should have proven skills in Operations Management and Production Planning to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable plant performance.
Candidates should bring knowledge of Manufacturing Operations, including process optimization, quality control, and equipment utilization.
Relevant technical or engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent practical experience in plant operations.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team supervision, training, and performance management in an industrial setting.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a track record of enforcing safe work practices.
Ability to analyze operational data, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
