POSITION DETAILS

Job Purpose

• The Data Analyst Intern will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support the company's decision-making processes.

This role involves working closely with different teams to identify opportunities for improving business performance through data-driven insights and decisions.

Responsibilities

of the Job

• Prepare various departmental reports highlighting key trends and performances.

• Assist in the creation of dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to teams.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights

• Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Assist in collecting and cleaning data from various sources.

• Support the development of data-driven strategies and recommendations to the company.

Academic and Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields; Data science, Mathematics, Computer science or any other related field.

• Knowledge in Data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL. Python would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge in Data Visualization tools.

• Analytical and Problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge in databases structures.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong organizational skills and good time management skills.
