Take a proactive role in advancing the maturation of these short-term oil and gas opportunities within the Asset Team, ensuring strategic alignment, and maximising their potential value.

Lead the management of flow assurance throughout the lifecycle of completed wells in the Assets.

Provide proactive leadership by incorporating effective mitigation strategies into production optimisation plans, thereby safeguarding operational efficiency, and maximising productivity.

Coordinate generation of proposals and execution of remediation activities for wells with flow assurance challenges.

Lead the process of problem wells identification and remediation, including:

Identification of candidate wells with near-wellbore damage that require chemical stimulations (such as acid or hydraulic stimulations) and designing appropriate treatment plans. Provide the expertise to monitor the execution of the stimulation operations and evaluations of the results.

Identification of water or gas shut-off candidate wells and development treatment strategies involving mechanical and/or chemical interventions. Supervise the operations closely and conduct thorough valuations of the outcomes.

Identification of wells that require additional and/or (re)perforation due to high mechanical skin, the design and execution of operations including gun selection and drawdown requirements. Continuously monitor the operations and evaluate the results.

By assuming these responsibilities, effectively drive the optimisation of well interventions, maximise operational successes, and ensure continuous improvement in the performance and productivity of the wells.

As the lead PT, coordinate the generation of comprehensive activity proposals for the identified operations and secure the necessary regulatory and partner approvals. These proposals should encompass economic justifications, functional designs, and detailed program outlines. Exercise strategic acumen in evaluation the potential economic benefits and effectively communicate the value proposition. Demonstrate strong leadership by ensuring the proposals align organisational goals and priorities, driving successful implementation and delivering tangible results.

Collaborate with other disciplines to:

Generate well/reservoir surveillance plans, identify, and obtain key data incorporating same into the asset surveillance plan.

Identify routine and non-routine data gathering requirements

Identify wells that are not performing up to expectations and reviewing various options to enhance inflow performance. Utilise analytical insights and technical expertise to explore and implement strategies for improving the productivity and efficiency of these wells.

Generate activity proposals for surveillance operations, which contain the economic justification, functional design and outline the associated programmes

Maintain robust and accurate data management system including Electronic Well Books (or its equivalent in a database) that is updated annually with the relevant historic static and dynamic data for the fields, wells, drainage points, reservoirs, flow stations and surface infrastructure data.

Through proactive assessment, strategic decision-making, and targeted interventions, drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in well performance, optimising overall production and contributing to the long-term success of the organisation.

Proactively engage with JV partners on annual work plan activities, budget planning, performance reviews, quarterly management reviews, field reviews, reservoir reviews, and other partner engagements as required by the team. Lead engagements with regulators on field performance reviews, well test reviews, and TAR discussions, thereby contributing to the overall success of the organization and enhancing the company's reputation among stakeholders.

Proactively engage with regulators to secure the required approvals for planned operations, well drilling and completion proposals, and new technology deployment initiatives. Collaborate with service providers and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement appropriate technologies that unlock asset opportunities in a cost-effective manner. Through these efforts, contribute to the delivery of cost-efficient, value-adding opportunities and enhance the company's financial performance.

Carry out other related duties as assigned, including assisting in the preparation and presentation of technical papers to Company management and key stakeholders.

Foster strong working relationships with the field staff, maintaining a close connection to ensure field-related tasks are executed efficiently. Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that arise, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational disruptions.
