Our client, a Boutique Hotel in Ghana, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Executive Chef

to join their prestigious luxury resort in Akosombo, Ghana.

This key leadership role requires a blend of strong culinary expertise and people leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring world-class food quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and design innovative, cuisine-appropriate menus aligned with market trends and guest expectations

Collaborate with Restaurant Management on menu pricing, cost control, and financial planning

Oversee full kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and health & food safety regulations

Manage inventory, purchasing, supplier selection, and quality evaluation of food and supplies

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards

Lead kitchen teams in food preparation, cooking, plating, and timely service delivery

Establish and implement kitchen policies, procedures, and operational best practices

Handle guest feedback and complaints while driving continuous improvement in food quality and service

Key Qualifications

Proven Executive Chef leadership experience within a luxury hotel or resort environment (minimum 3–5 years in a similar role)

Expert knowledge of the restaurant’s cuisine and advanced culinary techniques, including preparation and flavour pairing

Strong ability to create unique recipes and innovative menu concepts

Up-to-date knowledge of restaurant and hospitality industry trends

In-depth understanding of local food safety and handling regulations

Demonstrated ability to train, lead, motivate, and manage kitchen teams effectively

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills with strong attention to detail

Relevant professional qualification in culinary arts or related field, with strong time management and flexibility for weekends and holidays
