RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and manage the full farming cycle, including planting, cultivating, weeding, spraying, and harvesting.
Oversee activities such as pruning, weeding, fertilizer application, and soil PH adjustments.
Manage sustainable agronomic practices to optimise yields.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, labour, and environmental standards.
Ensure effective use and maintenance of field equipment
Identify the right time and methods for pesticide application, crop rotation, and general farm care.
Supervise and train farm workers to ensure efficiency and quality.
Maintain records of farm activities and provide regular reports.
Ensure optimal use of farm resources to achieve maximum yields.
REQUIREMENTS
Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Animal Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years proven experience managing a farm.
Strong knowledge of crop and/or livestock production, including pest and weed control.
Good leadership and organizational skills.
Must be based in Willing to relocate.
