JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Retail Development Manager, the Field Sales Executive will be responsible for acquiring and onboarding new customers, growing existing accounts and maximizing sales within the assigned territory. This role involves building strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and collaborating with teams to achieve sales targets.
This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Drive sales and achieve set targets within the assigned territory.
Identify, engage and onboard new customers.
Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits and responsive support.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
A customer-focused approach and commitment to excellent service.
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data.
Good understanding of automotive mechanics.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration.
2–3 years’ field sales experience in a B2B setting (automobile industry preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Preferably a Kenyan citizen.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND
