Job Summary

The Head of Supply Chain leads end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across both factories, from sourcing polypropylene (PP) granules, masterbatch, additives and packaging materials, through planning, warehousing and inventory, to outbound delivery of woven sacks to customers.

The role ensures uninterrupted production, optimal working capital, competitive landed cost and high customer service levels.

Harmonise processes, systems and policies across both factories while accounting for site-specific needs.

Manage sourcing of PP raw materials, UV stabilisers, fillers, colour masterbatch, lamination and printing inputs, packaging, spare parts and consumables.

Negotiate and manage contracts with local and international suppliers; develop alternative sources to reduce supply risk.

Run supplier evaluation, qualification and performance reviews (quality, price, delivery, compliance).

Allocate production orders between the two factories to optimise capacity, cost and delivery.

Set material requirement plans, safety stock and reorder levels.

Inventory and Warehousing:

Control raw material, work-in-progress and finished goods inventory at both sites; maintain accuracy through cycle counts and audits.

Reduce slow-moving, obsolete and excess stock and improve inventory turns.

Ensure safe, orderly storage, including fire safety for PP materials, and FIFO practices.

Logistics and Distribution:

Manage inbound and outbound transport, including inter-factory transfers, third-party carriers and port or clearing agents.

Optimise freight cost, route planning, fleet utilisation and on-time-in-full delivery.

Ensure customs, import/export and trade documentation compliance.

Cost, Budget and Performance:

Prepare and manage the supply chain budget; deliver cost-reduction and working capital targets.

Track and report KPIs, and drive continuous improvement using lean and data-driven methods.

Governance, Risk and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement ethics, quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Maintain a supply chain risk register and business continuity plans (supplier failure, port delays, currency shocks).

Support sustainability initiatives, including recycled PP use and waste reduction.

Systems and Digitalisation:

Own ERP supply chain module and drive adoption of planning, inventory and tracking tools and dashbords.
