Summary Of Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Ensure the hotel facilities, equipment and environment are properly maintained.
Ensure guests receive excellent hospitality and customer service.
Develop strategies to improve occupancy, revenue and profitability.
Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing guests.
Promote the hotel's services through appropriate marketing channels.
Ensure proper maintenance of hotel buildings, equipment and facilities.
Monitor security arrangements and ensure the safety of guests, employees and company property.
Monitor hotel revenue, expenditure and operating costs.
Prepare periodic operational and financial performance reports for Management.
Academic Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
HND/Bsc in Hospitality Management, Social science or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in hotel management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, hospitality standards and customer service.
Good financial management, budgeting and cost-control skills.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage staff, resolve conflicts and make sound operational decisions.
Good computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
High level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND
