Job Responsibilities

Wash, dry, iron and arrange hospital linen, uniforms and other laundry items.

Collect and sort used linen and ensure proper separation of clean and soiled items.

Ensure that clean linen is available when needed by the different hospital departments.

Keep the laundry room, equipment and work area clean and tidy.

Follow the hospital's hygiene and infection prevention guidelines when handling laundry.

Report any damaged equipment or other issues affecting laundry operations.

Requirements

Minimum of an SSCE.

Previous experience in laundry work will be an added advantage.

Must be neat, hardworking and reliable.

Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Must be willing to work as part of a team.

Minimum qualifications

Secondary School (SSCE)
