JOB PURPOSE:
This individual will lead and oversee end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across transportation, warehousing, materials management, freight services, infrastructure support, and related logistics functions.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement an integrated Logistics Strategy and Functional Plan aligned with business requirements, production needs, and project delivery timelines.
Provide strategic HSE leadership across logistics operations, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring the protection of people, assets, and the environment.
Protect company interests throughout the contract lifecycle and effectively manage relationships with logistics contractors and key stakeholders.
Develop and manage logistics work plans and budgets in line with company financial policies and procedures.
Provide logistics expertise and deliverables across projects, campaigns, and operational workstreams, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
Establish and monitor logistics performance measures covering HSE, resource effectiveness, operational efficiency, and service delivery.
Implement best practices, standards, and procedures in accordance with the company’s Operating Management System.
Ensure effective integration and utilization of logistics systems and tools.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CAREER EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 8 years’ experience in operational logistics and exploration, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience developing and managing multi-disciplinary project plans and teams.
Experience in continuous improvement, contract management, and HSSE investigations.
In-depth knowledge of aviation, maritime, land transportation, and supply-base operations.
Sound understanding of supply chain management, materials management, and warehousing principles.
Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
Sound knowledge of ERP systems, excel and general computer applications.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
