MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities:
Machine
Operation
● Operating farm machinery/equipment in
production, such as tractors, sprayers, combines and other equipment.
● Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or
harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
● Operating equipment in the right direction
and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property
● Keep Machinery and equipment clean and
organized.
Health and
Safety
● Ensure farm safety
● Maintain quality control and procedures
Machine and
Equipment Maintenance
● Thoroughly carrying out daily machine inspections
● Performing periodical safety, maintain or servicing checks to
ensure proper functioning of the equipment
● Adjusting and repairing farm machinery and ensuring major
malfunctions are reported promptly
● Working in adherence to safe practices, procedures, and work
site or traffic laws
● Ensuring daily machine calibration and dispatch
● Performing machine and equipment inspections to ensure that
regulations are being followed
● Entering records of field operations, including inspection
reports, input usage
Reporting and
Communication
● Informing and advising the management or mechanics for major
repairs or maintenance
Other
Other
tasks as may be required from time to time
