Job Purpose:
We are looking for a creative, proactive and results-driven Marketing & Business Development Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the company, generating new business opportunities and strengthening our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and apply for relevant tenders and business opportunities.
Prepare and coordinate tender documents and submissions.
Identify and reach out to potential corporate and institutional clients.
Manage the company’s social media platforms and create engaging content.
Design professional flyers, brochures, company profiles and marketing booklets.
Develop marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
Create and maintain a database of potential clients and business leads.
Follow up on leads and opportunities to generate new business.
Prepare marketing reports and provide regular feedback on business development activities.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
At least 2 years’ experience in marketing, business development or a similar role.
Proven experience in tender applications will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
Ability to use Canva or other graphic design tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills and good attention to detail.
Self-driven, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
A results-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
