Medical Sales Representatives

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists, hospitals and other key healthcare professionals.

• Maintain a high level of scientific and product knowledge, so as to ensure that the information communicated to all healthcare professionals is reliable and trustworthy

• Achieve and, where possible, exceed assigned sales targets.

• Identify new customers and business opportunities within the assigned territory.

• Develop and implement effective territory and customer plans.

• Provide professional customer service and follow up on customer needs.

• Organise and participate in CME sessions, workshops, roundtables, sponsored meetings, congresses and other promotional activities in collaboration with the Product Manager.

• Monitor market developments, customer feedback and competitor activities and provide relevant feedback to the team.

• Prepare accurate weekly activity reports and monthly sales reports.

• Work collaboratively with the Sales and Product teams to support business growth.

• Represent PSL professionally in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing or another relevant life-sciences discipline.

• 1-3 years' experience as a Medical/Pharmaceutical Representative or in a similar healthcare sales role.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Good negotiation and selling skills.

• Strong customer focus and ability to build long-term professional relationships.

• Target-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Good planning, organisation and time-management skills.

• Ability to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.

• Good reporting and analytical skills.

• Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.

• Must have a valid driving license.
