Operations Coordinator (Gas Division)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a dedicated, proactive and results-driven Operations Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Gas Division. The role will involve working closely with hospitals, industries and other bulk gas customers to ensure efficient order planning, production scheduling, timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and planning skills, be customer-focused and have the ability to identify business opportunities and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain strong relationships with hospitals, industries and other existing clients.

Regularly communicate with customers to understand their gas requirements and plan their orders accordingly.

Identify new business opportunities and work towards growing sales within the Gas Division.

Build long-term relationships with key customers to encourage repeat business.

Organise delivery schedules and logistics based on customer requirements.

Coordinate with drivers and the transport team to ensure efficient deliveries.

Ensure proper coordination between customers, production and dispatch teams.

Plan production based on customer demand, pending orders and projected requirements.

Coordinate with the production team to ensure sufficient gas availability.

Forecast customer demand and plan production accordingly.

Ensure efficient coordination between production, logistics, sales and dispatch.

Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.

Previous experience in operations coordination, logistics, production planning or customer relationship management.

Experience dealing with hospitals, industries or bulk customers will be an added advantage.

Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

Ability to plan production, coordinate logistics and manage multiple orders simultaneously.

Strong negotiation and business development skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting.

The successful candidate must be able to plan ahead, maintain strong relationships with customers, ensure production meets demand and actively contribute towards growing the division.
