Role Description

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow Pure Persona’s sales across B2C, B2B, gifting, retail, and consignment channels. The role will be responsible for driving revenue, building strong customer and partner relationships, developing new business opportunities, and leading sales activations. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, proactive, target-driven, and passionate about building a growing African wellness brand.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve Pure Persona’s revenue targets across B2C, B2B, gifting, retail, and consignment channels.

Identify, qualify, and convert new B2B customers, including corporates, hotels, wellness businesses, retailers, and gifting partners.

Drive direct-to-consumer sales through online, offline, WhatsApp, pop-ups, and other sales channels.

Develop and grow corporate and individual gifting opportunities, including bulk and seasonal orders.

Manage and grow relationships with consignment and retail partners, monitoring sales, stock levels, replenishment, and performance.

Plan and execute sales activations, pop-ups, and events to generate revenue, leads, and new customers.

Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent prospecting, follow-ups, conversions, and repeat sales.

Build, Lead, coach, and monitor the performance of sales team and promoters to achieve sales targets.

Analyse sales performance, customer trends, and channel performance and provide actionable recommendations to management.

Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure effective campaigns, stock availability, customer fulfilment, and overall sales growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

3–5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably with experience managing both B2B and B2C sales.

Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Experience in B2B business development, account management, and customer acquisition.

Experience managing retail, distribution, or consignment partnerships is an advantage.

Experience in corporate gifting, FMCG, wellness, lifestyle, hospitality, or premium consumer products is preferred.

Strong sales negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.

Proven ability to prospect, build and manage a sales pipeline, and convert leads into customers.

Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to use sales data to identify opportunities and drive growth.

Self-motivated, target-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
