Reports to the Hotel Manager
This is a new post. We need a sales-minded Executive to fill our rooms, hall and restaurant by winning corporate, NGO and institutional accounts and building our online presence.
What you will do
Own the account list: make 10 sales calls or visits a week and issue every quote within 24 hours.
Run our Google, social media, WhatsApp and online travel agency presence and the guest review process.
Run the marketing budget and calendar, and report enquiries, conversion, bookings and revenue by channel each month.
Manage partner and referral agreements with drivers, travel agents and event organisers.
Take hall and event bookings with the Food and Beverage Supervisor, and supervise two trainees.
What we are looking for
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Tourism.
At least 3 years in business-to-business sales or hotel and tourism marketing.
Account management, WhatsApp, social media and Google tools, quoting and reporting, and a strong local business network in Gulu and the region.

A competitive base salary on the hotel's pay scale plus commission on new account revenue, employer NSSF, and the opportunity to build the sales function of a growing hotel.
