Social Media Content & Strategy Executive

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Social Media Specialist, Content Strategist, or similar role.

A portfolio of previous social media work, including TikTok's, Reels, or other video content, is required.

Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X and their content formats and algorithms.

Strong video shooting and editing skills.

Proficiency in mobile video editing tools such as Cap Cut, VN, or similar software.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a confident, energetic, and relatable on-camera personality.

Strong creativity and the ability to turn products and promotions into engaging social media content.

Ability to quickly identify and adapt to social media trends.

Good understanding of digital marketing and social media audience behaviour.

Willingness and ability to learn Maxbuy’s product portfolio, promotions, pricing, and key selling points.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent daily content output.

Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on content performance, audience growth, customer engagement, and sales conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Content Planning

Develop and implement Maxbuy’s overall social media content strategy.

Plan monthly, weekly, and daily content calendars to ensure consistent content output.

Develop content strategies for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X.

Identify target audiences and create content that is relevant and engaging to them.

Develop strategies to increase reach, engagement, follower growth, customer enquiries, and sales.

Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Teams to align social media content with promotions, campaigns, product launches, and business objectives.

Content Creation & Video Production

Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas that highlight Maxbuy’s products, promotions, stores, services, and campaigns.

Monitor social media trends, memes, challenges, and popular content formats, and quickly adapt relevant trends to the Maxbuy brand.

Write engaging and platform-appropriate scripts for TikToks, Reels, Shorts, and other short-form content.

Plan and shoot high-quality short-form videos independently.

Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere, or InShot.

Create engaging content using trending audio, transitions, text overlays, product demonstrations, and other relevant creative elements.

Turn product features and technical specifications into simple, interesting, and easy-to-understand content for customers.

Social Media Platform Management

Manage Maxbuy’s daily social media content and posting activities.

Publish content consistently according to the approved content calendar.

Optimize captions, hashtags, posting times, and content formats for each platform.

Maintain a consistent Maxbuy brand image and communication style across all social media platforms.

Monitor platform trends and make timely adjustments to the content strategy.

Live Streaming & Hosting

Plan and host regular livestreams on TikTok Live and Instagram Live.

Develop livestream topics, product selections, promotions, scripts, and schedules.

Present and demonstrate products clearly and confidently during livestreams.

Explain promotions, pricing, product features, and available payment options.

Engage with viewers in real time, answer customer questions, and handle customer objections professionally.

Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and relevant brand teams to ensure accurate product and promotional information is provided during livestreams.

Use livestreams to generate customer enquiries and drive sales.
