Our client in the beauty and personal care industry is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to manage its online presence, create engaging content, and attract potential customers through effective social media management.
Job Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating, managing, and publishing engaging content across the salon’s social media platforms to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the salon’s social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Create and publish engaging content, including pictures, short-form videos, reels, and promotional graphics.
Capture photos and videos of hairstyles, salon services, transformations, and daily activities.
Develop creative content ideas around beauty trends, hairstyles, promotions, and customer experiences.
Write engaging captions and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
Respond to social media comments, direct messages, and customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Monitor social media performance, track engagement, and identify opportunities to grow the salon’s online presence.
Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent posting across platforms.
Requirements
First degree in any related field.
Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role.
Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Ability to create engaging content, take quality pictures and videos, and write compelling captions.
Basic proficiency in content creation and editing tools such as Canva and CapCut.
Creativity, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet content deadlines.
Experience in the beauty, salon, or personal care industry is an added advantage.
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Lekki, Lagos.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND
