Education:

Academic - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, (Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, )

Academic - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Supplies Management option), (Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Supplies Management option),)

Academic - Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and logistics (Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and logistics)

Academic - or any other relevant qualification ( or any other relevant qualification)

Academic - OTHER (Proficiency in computer applications. )

Membership - Membership to Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and in good standing (Membership to Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and in good standing)

Membership - or a relevant professional body and in good standing (or a relevant professional body and in good standing)

Job Responsibilities

Undertaking market research, surveys and analyses;

Implementing procurement plans and processing purchase requisitions;

Participating in sourcing, supplier evaluation/rating, inviting offers, negotiations and contracting;

Drafting of procurement and disposal plans and budgets;

Drafting letters of notification after the tender evaluation;

Preparing minutes for tender opening exercise and submit to tender evaluation committee;

Identifying demand, planning and procurement of the items required by the user directorates and divisions;

Conducting inspection and verification of the items received by the relevant committee;

Verifying payment documents for goods, works and services delivered/rendered to FRC by suppliers and other service providers; and

Updating contract details in government portals and FRC websites.
