Job Summary:

The County Public Service Board Wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons on permanent and pensionable terms to fill the following positions in the department of Education.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Deployed in the Vocational Training Centre as a trainer in the relevant field of specialization

Giving theoretical and practical instruction in their area of specialization;

Preparing and maintaining professional records Carrying out training assessment.

Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Conducting Co-curricular activities.

Maintaining Trainees discipline and Counseling.

Monitoring trainees on fieldwork, industrial attachment and compiling progress report of budgets;

Any other duties may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

The office holder will report to the Senior Vocational Training Officer. For appointment to this grade, the officer must have the following:

Diploma / Level 6 in Hair dressing and Beauty Therapy/Cosmetology from a recognized Qualification Awarding Institution;

Be licensed by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA)

Pedagogical training will be an added advantage

Must have worked as a trainer in a Vocational Training Institution;

Proficiency in computer applications from a recognized institution;

Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
