Job Overview
To ensure the effective management of finished goods warehousing operations by overseeing storage, inventory accuracy, and timely dispatch, while driving compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Job Description
Supervise receipt, stacking, storage, picking, and dispatch of finished goods.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of dispatch orders by customers’ 3PL trucks.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping, organization, and compliance with standards.
Conduct cycle counts and monthly stock reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Maintain real-time and accurate inventory records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular team briefings.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and audit requirements.
Coordinate with Plant Logistics, Transport, and Sales teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and processes.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse activity reports (stock, dispatches, variances).
Track KPIs (order accuracy, on-time dispatch, stock accuracy, warehouse utilization).
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
Experience and Skills:
3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (SAP).
Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
