Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:
Assist in recording daily financial transactions in accounting software.
Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
Update journals, ledgers, and accounting schedules.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Support:
Assist in processing supplier invoices and preparing payment vouchers.
Support preparation of customer invoices.
Assist in monitoring receivables and following up on outstanding payments.
Reconcile vendor and customer statements.
Bank & Cash Management Support:
Assist in preparing bank reconciliation statements.
Support petty cash reconciliation and expense tracking.
Identify discrepancies and escalate to supervisor..Financial Reporting Support:
Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports.
Support preparation of schedules for management reporting.
Compile financial data required for audits and compliance reviews.
Tax & Compliance Support:
Assist in preparation of VAT, WHT, and PAYE schedules.
Support statutory compliance documentation.
Assist during internal and external audit exercises.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND
