Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
Oversee daily accounting operations including payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Handle tax computations, filing, and compliance (VAT, • PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, etc.).
Manage cash flow, petty cash, and banking transactions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies when necessary.
Ensure internal financial controls are maintained and strengthened.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA Section IV and above (CPA finalist preferred).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting within a trading, automotive, or lubricant distribution company.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or Sage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills. High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under minimal supervision.
