Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting operations, and ensuring proper financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and budgets.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure proper documentation of financial activities and transactions.
Support tax documentation and statutory compliance.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical, organisational, and numerical skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND
