Digital Sales & Social Media Executive - Furniture

Nexus Staffing Solutions is urgently recruiting on behalf of its client, a furniture retail store located along Ngong Road, for a confident, creative and results-driven Digital Sales & Social Media Executive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving furniture sales through both physical customer engagement and digital platforms, with a particular focus on TikTok marketing and social commerce.

The role requires an outgoing individual with excellent communication and persuasion skills, confidence in front of a camera and the ability to create engaging product content that attracts potential customers, generates enquiries and converts online interest into actual sales.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual who understands how to use social media to drive business growth.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Drive daily furniture sales through walk-in customers, telephone enquiries and online platforms.

Manage and actively promote the store\'s products on TikTok and other relevant social media platforms.

Create engaging short-form videos showcasing furniture products, features, designs, prices and promotions.

Confidently appear in product videos, conduct product demonstrations and present promotional content.

Respond promptly to customer enquiries, comments and direct messages across digital platforms.

Convert online enquiries and social media engagement into actual sales.

Follow up with prospective customers, provide product information and guide them through the purchasing process.

Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns, promotions and product marketing initiatives.

Monitor social media engagement, customer enquiries and sales generated through online platforms.

Maintain updated product information and ensure accurate communication of prices, availability and product specifications.

Work towards agreed sales targets and contribute to the store\'s overall revenue growth.

Requirements and Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage.

Previous experience in sales, retail marketing, digital marketing or customer service.

Demonstrable understanding of TikTok and other social media platforms, particularly their use in product marketing and online selling.

Ability to create engaging videos, product demonstrations and promotional content using a smartphone.

Confident, outgoing and comfortable appearing in front of a camera.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, persuasion, negotiation and customer engagement skills.

Ability to convert customer enquiries into sales and follow up on prospective buyers.

Basic content creation, photography and video-editing skills will be an added advantage.

Self-driven, creative, organised and results-oriented.

Ability to work independently and meet sales and marketing targets.
