Role Description
The Experienced Radiographer will perform and optimize diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for neurosurgical and specialist care teams.
Responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, adhering to radiation safety protocols, preparing and positioning patients, and maintaining accurate imaging records.
The role involves close collaboration with physicians and other clinicians to support timely diagnosis and treatment, as well as routine quality checks and basic equipment troubleshooting.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at Memfys Hospital in Enugu, requiring consistent presence to support clinical services and patient care.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Radiologic Technology and Radiology to perform and interpret a range of diagnostic imaging procedures.
Proficiency in Radiation Safety and Radiation management to ensure safe operation of equipment and protection of patients and staff.
Understanding of Medicine as it relates to neurosurgery and multidisciplinary care, supporting accurate imaging protocols and clinical decisions.
Relevant professional certification or registration as a Radiographer, with evidence of continuing professional development.
Several years of post-qualification experience in a hospital or specialized imaging environment, preferably including neurology or neurosurgery settings.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, with strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Competence in using digital imaging systems, PACS, and basic IT tools for documentation and reporting.
Demonstrated attention to detail, adherence to clinical protocols, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
