We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, disciplined, versatile, and professionally presented individual to fill the position of General Storekeeper. The successful candidate will play a key supporting role in the effective management of all materials, supplies, and equipment within the organisation, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked, properly stored, and efficiently issued while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Job Location: Berekum-Bono

Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for issuance and accurate recording including general spares for pickups, trucks, tractors, equipment and chemicals

Ensure all daily stock issuances from containers and main stores are accurately accounted for on stock issue vouchers (SIVs)

Double-check all SIV entries against the tally system export for accuracy with the Accounts department’s assistance

Coordinate and supervise harvesting storekeepers' and fuel attendants' daily activities to ensure compliance

Conduct a daily check of stock balances against the tally system

Plan with Plantations and Harvesting Managers of divisional stock needs and budget

Liaise with Procurement Officer (PO) for approved stock needs to be purchased

Monthly inventory/stock take report to Snr Forest Accountant and Forest Manager of usage and available stock balances together with reorder statement

Quarterly general stock take report to FAM and FM (assisted by PO, site Accountants, Fleet Mgt Officer and etc)

Ensure all issued stock is accurately and promptly entered into the Tally system so physical stock matches the Tally system balances

Send stock balances vs re-order level to forest management, including site managers, engineering operations manager and the fleet officer/supervisor

Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and proper arrangement of the store to ensure efficient operations.

Assist in the management of the divisional asset register

Job Essentials

HND or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management or procurement.

Knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation and store management practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems; experience with Tally software is an advantage.

Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.

Must have a valid NHIS Card and Ghana Card.

Possessing a valid Driver's Licence (Class B) will be an added advantage.

Must have a valid SSNIT Number.
