Instructor

Responsibilities:

Teach design courses to students of varying skill levels

Guiding them from foundational concepts to industry-ready competence

Delivering engaging, practical instruction in person and/or online, developing and maintaining structured course content aligned with industry standards

Guiding students through hands-on projects

Keeping accurate records of student progress and attendance

Caring for classroom equipment and contributing ideas to help grow the Academy's course offerings and outreach.

Requirements:

A relevant qualification or certification in graphic design, visual arts, fine arts, or a related field is an added advantage.

Proficiency

in at least one major design software, such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop,

Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Animate

Strong

foundational knowledge of graphic design principles, including colour

theory, typography, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.

Good

communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience

and the ability to explain design concepts clearly to beginners.

Previous

teaching, training, coaching, or mentorship experience is an added

advantage.

Ability

to demonstrate practical knowledge of graphic design through relevant

projects or a portfolio.

Strong

creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new design

techniques.

Ability

to work effectively in a team and maintain a supportive learning

environment.

Must

be willing and able to relocate to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

Must

be available for a full-time, on-site role.
