Lift Maintenance Technician (EL1) – St Paul’s Bay, Malta

An established engineering services company is seeking a

Lift Maintenance Technician

to support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of passenger lifts.

The role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical work, responding to callouts, and ensuring safety and service standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate is technically trained, safety-conscious, comfortable working at heights, and willing to work shifts and emergency standby schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance, inspection, and minor repairs of lift systems in line with maintenance schedules.

Perform basic electrical and mechanical tasks efficiently, independently and within a team.

Ensure a safe working environment at all times and comply with safety procedures.

Respond promptly to service call-outs using company-provided transport and navigation tools.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using digital tools (smartphone/software).

Ensure lifts are serviced according to company guidelines and regulatory standards.

Key Qualifications

Diploma in a relevant field.

Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Valid driving licence (car or van).

Technical certification from a college or trade institute in Single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
