Job Responsibilities
Preparing and organizing the dietetics workshop for practical lessons and demonstrations.
Assisting trainers in conducting practical sessions in nutrition, dieteticsofood 0. Box 111 preparation and meal planning.
Preparing ingredients, equipment, tools and materials required for practical training sessions.
Demonstrating appropriate food preparation, cooking, portioning and presentation techniques to learners under the guidance of the trainer.
Ensuring the proper use, handling, cleaning and storage of workshop equipment, tools and utensils.
Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in the dietetics workshop before, during and after practical sessions.
Identifying defective equipment and reporting the need for repair, replacement or servicing.
Assisting trainers in preparing practical training materials and resources for competency-based training.
Supporting learners during practical exercises and ensuring that workshop procedures are followed.
Maintaining records of workshop usage, consumables, equipment maintenance and practical
Job Specifications
Higher National diploma or Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and dietetics, Bachelor of Technology in Nutrition and dietetics or its equivalents.
Must be a registered member of Kenya Nutritionist and dieticians Institute.
