JOB OVERVIEW
The Sales Engineer at Davis & Shirtliff will support sales operations and client engagement in line with D&S’s objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction, effective promotion of products, and operational efficiency while developing technical and professional skills in the water equipment and solar energy sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clients with detailed product usage and maintenance information to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
Assist in achieving sales targets through proactive engagement and excellent customer service.
Assist in preparing and presenting technical proposals and quotations to clients.
Assist in coordinating product deliveries and maintaining inventory records.
Support administrative tasks, including preparing reports, updating databases, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
Rotate across departments to gain exposure to various operational and technical aspects of the business.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Civil, Mechanical, or Water Resources Engineering.
Graduated between 6 months and 2 years ago.
Eagerness to work in customer-facing roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
AutoCAD skills are an added advantage.
DURATION AND OPPORTUNITY
Six-month paid internship, with the possibility of an employment offer based on good performance.

Location: Rusizi / Kigali
