VACANCY: SECURITY GUARD (Day/Night)Company Description

A reputable private organisation in Accra is seeking a disciplined, vigilant, courteous, and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety of its premises, personnel, visitors, and property.

Role Description

The Security Guard will be responsible for access control, security monitoring, vehicle parking management, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Accra (Dansoman, East Legon, Osu).

Key Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points and ensure only authorised persons access the premises.

Conduct routine security patrols, and report suspicious activities.

Direct drivers to appropriate parking spaces and ensure vehicles are properly parked.

Facilitate the smooth flow of vehicles during busy hours, especially during arrival and departure periods.

Assist visitors courteously and professionally.

Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.

Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports.

Protect organisational property and enforce established security procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

Previous experience in security or protective services is an advantage.

Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Ability to manage parking arrangements and direct vehicle movement effectively.

Must be vigilant, honest, disciplined, punctual, and physically fit.

Must demonstrate courtesy, patience, professionalism, and respect when interacting with others.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and follow security procedures.

A high school education or equivalent is preferred; security training or certification is an added advantage.
