Social Media Project Manager

Role Description The Social Media Project Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Accra, with both on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The role involves planning and executing social media campaigns, coordinating content calendars, and ensuring timely delivery of posts and initiatives across CustEx’s social channels. The Social Media Project Manager will oversee project timelines, manage cross-functional communication, and track campaign performance to support ongoing optimization. Daily tasks include coordinating with content creators and designers, monitoring social media engagement, identifying opportunities to increase reach, and ensuring brand consistency. The individual will also contribute to reporting on project progress and help streamline processes for social media and digital projects.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess project coordination and oversight skills, including Project Management and Expeditor Social media growth experience.

Candidates should possess process acceleration and follow-up skills, including Expediting and related schedule management capabilities.

Candidates should possess quality and compliance skills, including Inspection experience in reviewing deliverables against standards.

Candidates should possess operational and movement-planning skills, including Logistics Management for managing timelines, resources, and workflows.

Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) and digital campaign execution.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and in a team, managing part-time hybrid work between Accra office and remote settings.

Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field; prior work in social media or digital project management is an advantage.
