Location: Ajah (Badore), Lagos
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Baker to join our team at our Ajah, Badore outlet.
The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread and pastries, while ensuring that all products meet the company's quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake different types of bread and pastries according to established recipes and standards.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately to achieve consistent product quality.
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and overall production processes.
Ensure all baked products are properly prepared, presented, and stored.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness within the baking area.
Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients and baking equipment.
Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
Minimize wastage of ingredients and finished products.
Keep the baking area, equipment, and work surfaces clean and organized.
Follow all company food safety, health, and hygiene standards.
Work effectively with other kitchen and restaurant staff.
Perform other baking-related duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Baker.
Must have practical experience in bread and pastry production.
Must have good knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients.
Ability to produce consistent and quality bread and pastries.
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be hardworking, reliable, and responsible.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Salary
N65,000 - N80,000 monthly.
