Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, scale and mix ingredients according to approved recipes and production requirements.
Produce bread, rolls, cakes, pastries and other assigned items; prepare specialty products such as croissants where required by the bakery range.
Operate mixers, ovens, proofers, sheeters and other bakery equipment safely and report faults promptly.
Monitor dough consistency, proofing, baking time, temperature, colour, texture, yield and finished-product quality.
Follow daily production schedules and coordinate with the supervisor to meet demand while minimising overproduction and wastage.
Maintain proper storage, labelling, rotation and handling of ingredients and finished products.
Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils, work surfaces and production areas, observing personal hygiene and food-safety requirements.
Record ingredient usage, production quantities, wastage and stock needs; support attractive display, freshness checks and customer requests when assigned.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
Practical bakery training or relevant experience in a bakery, supermarket bakery, hotel or food-production setting.
Knowledge of baking ingredients, measurements, mixing, proofing, oven control and product quality standards.
Ability to follow recipes, work accurately under production deadlines and operate equipment safely.
Good hygiene, teamwork and time-management skills; able to work early shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
Working Day: Monday - Fridays (Saturday)
Working Hours: 8:00am -5:00pm (9:00am- 2:00pm)
Location: Spintex, North Kaneshie,Achimota Mall
Salary: GHC 1,000 - 2000
