Key Responsibilities
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury support, and bank reconciliations.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare timely management accounts.
Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls.
Oversee fixed asset capitalization, asset registers, inventory controls, and reconciliations.
Monitor CAPEX and OPEX against approved budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Analyse financial trends and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
Ensure timely tax and statutory compliance, including VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE, pension, and other applicable obligations.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Supervise, mentor, and support junior finance team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Odoo ERP, advanced Excel, and financial data analysis; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
Experience in budgeting, financial modelling, reconciliations, and fixed asset and inventory management.
Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in the telecommunications, ISP, FTTH, or infrastructure industry is an advantage.
Professional accounting certification and audit experience are added advantages.
