Purpose
A leading resort in Athi River with over 70 executive villas is looking to fill a manager role.
The Human Resource Manager will manage people processes so the resort has a skilled, motivated and compliant workforce.
Job Description
Key responsibilities
Lead recruitment, onboarding and induction of staff.
Administer payroll inputs, leave, attendance and staff records.
Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour law, NSSF, SHA, PAYE and other statutory requirements.
Manage performance appraisals, training and staff development.
Handle discipline, grievances and staff welfare fairly and confidentially.
Maintain HR policies and report on headcount and staff costs to the General Manager.
Qualifications and experience
Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management; IHRM membership an advantage.
3+ years in HR, preferably in hospitality.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment law, integrity and discretion.
Terms
3 month's probationary period
2 years renewable contracts subject to satisfactory performance
Housing and food will be provided.
