Key Responsibilities
Assist the chef with food preparation, including washing, peeling and cutting ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils and cooking equipment.
Assist with serving meals and general kitchen operations.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
Monitor kitchen supplies and report shortages.
Comply with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE.
Previous kitchen or catering experience is an added advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
Good personal hygiene and attention to detail.
Minimum qualifications
Secondary School (SSCE)
