Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive deposit mobilisation, loan origination, and customer acquisition within the high-net-worth individual (HNWI) segment. The successful candidate will identify business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth and profitability of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
Drive deposit mobilisation by sourcing high-value individual and corporate deposits.
Identify and acquire high-net-worth clients and grow the bank’s customer base through account opening.
Generate quality loan opportunities, assess client needs, and drive loan origination in line with the bank’s credit policies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive business growth and retention.
Leverage networking, referrals, and market intelligence to identify new business opportunities.
Achieve assigned targets for deposits, account opening, and loan disbursement.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities and provide regular performance reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development, deposit mobilisation, lending, or relationship management, preferably within banking or financial services.
Strong network of high-net-worth individuals and potential depositors or borrowers.
Good knowledge of banking products, credit processes, and customer acquisition strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong business development drive and a proven ability to meet targets.
