Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to prepare delicious, nutritious, and well-presented meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and kitchen management.
The ideal candidate should be creative, organized, and able to prepare a variety of meals based on the household’s preferences and dietary requirements.
Responsibilities
Plan and prepare daily meals according to the household’s preferences and dietary needs.
Prepare a variety of local and continental dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
Manage kitchen supplies, monitor inventory, and ensure ingredients are available when needed.
Prepare meal plans and shopping lists where necessary.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
Minimize food waste while maintaining quality.
Adhere to food safety standards and best practices.
Accommodate special dietary requirements and meal preferences.
Requirements
Must possess a Degree, HND, or relevant qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Must have practical cooking skills and a good understanding of food preparation techniques.
Ability to prepare a variety of Nigerian and continental dishes.
Previous experience working as a chef or in a similar role is an advantage.
Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
Must be organized, trustworthy, attentive to details, and willing to learn.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
