Do you love helping children thrive, creating structure and bringing order to a busy day?
A creative founder is looking for a highly organised, thoughtful and resourceful person to support her home and personal life, with particular responsibility for coordinating her ten-year-old son’s school, learning and extracurricular schedule.
This role would particularly suit a teacher, tutor or education professional who is excited to bring their skills into a more varied, personal setting, combining an understanding of children with planning, organisation and practical support.
You’ll help create an environment where a child can flourish and a busy founder can focus, becoming a trusted presence in the everyday life of the family.
What you’ll do
Coordinate her son’s school commitments, lessons, activities and transport, keeping his busy schedule balanced and running smoothly.
Liaise with teachers, tutors and activity providers, following up on information, materials and upcoming commitments.
Support homework routines, school preparation and age-appropriate independence, encouraging good habits without doing everything for him.
Think ahead about what he needs for the coming day and week, from school projects to football kit.
Manage personal appointments, errands and household logistics.
Organise belongings, clothing, documents and supplies, creating simple systems that stay organised.
Coordinate household staff, drivers and service providers, ensuring tasks are completed.
Keep accurate records of purchases, expenses and outstanding jobs.
Who we’re looking for
A background in teaching, tutoring, education or child development is strongly preferred.
Experience working with children is essential, alongside a warm manner, patience and clear boundaries.
Exceptional organisation: you genuinely enjoy a well-planned week, a properly arranged cupboard and the satisfaction of following something through.
Strong written and spoken English, sound judgement and confident communication.
Initiative, resourcefulness and the ability to anticipate needs.
Confidence using digital calendars, spreadsheets and task lists.
Discretion, reliability and respect for a family’s privacy.
Why this could be an exciting next chapter
If you enjoy education but would welcome a role beyond the classroom, this offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in one child’s daily life while developing broader skills in personal assistance, household management and operations.
You will work closely with a creative entrepreneur, gaining insight into how a founder organises her life and work, with room to earn greater responsibility as your capabilities grow.
